About Us

I have over 11 years’ experience working within the Health and Social Care sector. Throughout my career, I have worked as a Care Assistant, Activities Coordinator, and Team Leader. Roles which I have thoroughly enjoyed, as making a positive difference to someone’s day is incredibly important to me.

I have completed a wide range of training over the years and have a real passion for continuing to learn and finding ways to further develop and improve in my role.

Outside of work, I support my daughter’s Brownies group as an assistant leader. I also enjoy spa days with friends and going on holiday. Most importantly, I love spending quality time with my beautiful daughter.

My professional background is largely within the NHS, which has given me a strong understanding of health and social care, as well as a passion for supporting people and ensuring they receive the best possible service.

Outside of work, family life keeps me busy. I spend most of my time looking after my son and our much-loved (and very spoiled!) sausage dog, Mooie, with plenty of help from my husband.

One of my biggest hobbies is baking, something I’ve enjoyed since childhood. My speciality is my famous “Birthday Brownies”, which I love making for friends and family to help celebrate special occasions.

It’s an absolute pleasure to support our companions, clients and family’s day to day.

Throughout my career, I have always worked within people focused roles within HR and recruitment. I am a bubbly and friendly person, who really enjoys talking and meeting new people and making lasting relationships. Making a difference to people is really important to me, however big or small.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. You’ll often find me discovering new places to explore, going on long walks with my dogs or finding yummy places to eat and drink. I am always happiest with a coffee and cake in my hand! I am married to my lovely husband, and we have been together 16 years. My number 1 job is being Mummy to my beautiful little girl and dog Mum to my chocolate mini cockapoo, Bridget and mini salt and pepper Schnoo (Schnauzer), Monty.

After two years as a Care Support Worker, I joined the Bespoke Life as a Companion. This is a role I thoroughly enjoy, as it involves all the aspects I love of being a Care Support Worker – getting to spend quality time with people, learning about their interests and passions, and supporting them to live their fullest life!

Alongside being a Companion at Bespoke Life, I also work for an Insurance Broker in Cheltenham on a part-time basis.

I am married with one stepdaughter and two grandchildren, not forgetting our pet cat! My main hobby is sport, and I am a passionate season ticket holder at Liverpool. I enjoy eating out, reading and socialising. I also enjoy holidaying, both in the UK and abroad.

I had a rewarding role as play leader with a local charity in Newbury that helped support children with special needs and disabilities. During this time, I was able to meet and get to know wonderful families.

In 2021 my husband and I, decided to pack up our things and move to the coast, in Milford on Sea. This is where I found my first role as a companion. When my father was unwell, we used a similar service for him, so I felt like this my way to pay back the kind help and support that he received. Being able to help people and making a difference to people’s lives, no matter how big or small, is a huge passion of mine.

We’ve now moved to Cheltenham, which is where my husband grew up, and I’m thrilled to be able to join The Bespoke Life team. I enjoy meeting new people, getting to know them and love listening to people’s life stories and all that they have done over the years.

I spend a lot of my spare time out walking my dog, Dave, with my husband, getting to know the local area and finding a pub that serves the best roast dinner! I also enjoy running, going to the theatre, and having a good catch up with my friends!

However, behind the scenes, I gained many years of unpaid caring experience. I first supported my father, who chose to receive end-of-life care at home following a cancer diagnosis, and later cared for my mother throughout her nine-year Dementia journey, working closely with professionals as her needs evolved.

These experiences gave me a deep passion for helping older people and those living with Dementia to live well. In 2019, I became a Dementia Friends Champion (now Ambassadors) and delivered voluntary awareness sessions to help improve understanding of the condition. I have also volunteered for a local charity by offering companionship and a listening ear to people who may be isolated or experiencing loneliness.

From my time caring for my mum, I know how important it is to have a companion who genuinely cares and supports someone in doing the things they enjoy. That is why I was so impressed by Bespoke Life – I believe there is a real need for support that enriches lives in this way.

I love meeting people and hearing their stories. Throughout my professional life, I have supported a wide range of initiatives, developing skills in active listening, adapting to different environments, and making sure people feel valued.

Alongside my role as a Companion for the Bespoke Life, I also serve as a Deputy Registrar of Marriages, a role that involves building rapport, putting people at ease, and supporting them during life’s important moments.

Away from work, my perfect day would be enjoying delicious food with my family (I have a son, daughter, and foster daughter in their late teens) followed by a long walk with my lively Patterdale terrier. I also enjoy heritage, art, and culture, and I am currently studying History of Art part-time.

I’ve always been a people person. Before my time in the NHS, I worked as a Beauty Therapist for 15 years, helping people feel their best and building lasting relationships through care and conversation. I genuinely enjoy getting to know others, listening to their stories, and offering the support they need to feel empowered and independent.

Joining The Bespoke Life has been the perfect next step for me. It allows me to bring together my passion for care and connection, helping people live well in the comfort of their own homes, on their terms.

As a mum of two daughters, I cherish our time together whether we’re at the lido, out camping, or off on one of our spontaneous day trips and shopping adventures!

I was so thrilled to discover The Bespoke Life because the aims were to help individuals have more social contact, which then helps with maintaining their independence. I love the fact that I can use my skill set in a new way and help the people I support to enjoy a local drive in the beautiful area around Cheltenham, while at the same time supporting their families by giving them some time to themselves. I have deep gratitude for their stories and thank them for the time and conversations that we have shared.

In my spare time, I practise a Japanese form of Buddhism, where we chant. This enables me to have a wonderful, happy life. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, often including socialising in restaurants. I love listening to music, from pop to classical, and have an interest in sports, including football, tennis, and rugby, to name a few.

I enjoy improving my physical fitness by walking whenever possible and swimming, and you will often find me enjoying the sun at the local lido while thinking about my next cruise. I also enjoy travelling in the UK; there are so many interesting and historic places to visit.

No two days are ever the same. One day I might be out and about with a client for lunch or shopping, and the next I could be supporting someone to attend a GP appointment. I really enjoy the variety and the chance to help in ways that suit each individual.

Before joining The Bespoke Life, I worked in social care with the County Council for 32 years. During that time, I supported lots of different clients and worked closely with other professionals in the community, including district nurses.

Outside of work, my family and friends mean everything to me, and I love spending my time socialising and being with them.

I have worked with families and healthcare professionals, enabling the clients to live a full and independent life in their own home. In later stages, this included transition of clients into care homes, hospital or through to end of their life in their own home.

I joined The Bespoke Life to enable me to return to my own home full time and to be able to enjoy my Grandson, family, friends and hobbies.

I was born in Kenya and have lived and worked all around the world. My greatest joy has been bringing up my 3 children. My passions are horticulture; something I try to indulge in as much as possible, reading, music, theatre and equine.

My cup is always half full and love to laugh and share giggles with whom I am around.
