Vicky and The Bespoke Life are named ‘Best New Business’ award finalist

Vicky Weaver, Owner and Founder of The Bespoke Life, has been announced as ‘Best New Business of the Year’ finalist at the prestigious Women’s Business Awards in London on 3 December.

Since Vicky formed The Bespoke Life company based in Cheltenham, it’s transformed the lives of their clients. Their much-needed service is combating loneliness and enabling independence for people who live across Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.

As people juggle busy lives while caring for relatives, The Bespoke Life Companionship team are providing an important lifeline for people. The team can provide regular weekly visits and welfare visits and support whilst families are at work or on holiday.

Why vote for Vicky?

Businesswoman Vicky had a vision of a much-needed service. Before The Bespoke Life, Vicky worked in an adult day setting for over 65’s in Gloucestershire. Vicky had the idea of providing a similar service but tailored for individuals living at home. Many of the clients at the setting did not want nor require the services of a care staff or a care company. She identified that a service like that of a ‘personal assistant’, with aspects of a ‘befriender’, was preferred, alongside enabling them get out and about.

Vicky’s vision was to give people the quality one to one time, attention and support, which can be so easily overlooked in today’s busy world. Vicky also wanted to provide families and carers with the peace of mind and reassurance that The Bespoke Life Companion staff are there, when families may not be able to.

The company came to life in 2022 and was named The Bespoke Life offering a unique tailor-made support and travel for adults across Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.

‘Best New Business’ award category, which Vicky is a finalist for, is designed to showcase and celebrate a woman who has taken a chance and started a new business despite facing many challenges. She has taken the plunge, overcome the barriers to launch and turned her brilliant idea into reality. We award her for showing consistent growth in her business and learning from the difficult challenges that face all new businesses in the early years.

The awards are hosted by Women’s Business Club, a movement that empowers women to succeed in business. Businesswomen from across the globe are coming together for the annual Women’s Business Awards. The event features over 22 categories including Businesswoman of the Year, Employer of the Year, and Diversity & Inclusion Award. There is also a Man of the Year to honour the men who support their women in their business or career.

The award event is on Wednesday 3 December at the Assembly Hall at Church House Westminster in London. There will also be tickets for people to buy and to watch virtually at home.
